What
format are the patterns in?
All the patterns on this site are in .dxf
format.
What do I get when I order a pattern?
You will receive two
files for each pattern - one DXF and one PDF. The DXF is the pattern
that goes in your machine. The PDF is a sample page that you can print
and keep in a display folder to show your customers.
When will my patterns
arrive?
We will email you the pattern as soon as your payment is processed.
Can
I get my patterns on CD instead of having them emailed to me?
Yes.
Order your patterns as normal and make sure to check the CD option
in the checkout. CD's cost $20 and you may have as many patterns as you
like on one CD as long as they're all ordered at the same time.
I've ordered
patterns via email in the past, can I have them put on a CD now?
No.
Patterns will only be delivered once.
How do I make the pattern work
on my Statler Stitcher?
All our .dxf patterns already have the snap=0.001/first/last
instructions in the file. All you need to do is convert the .dxf into
a Precision Stitch file using the software and instructions that came
with your Statler Stitcher.
How do I make the pattern work on my CompuQuilter?
All you need to do
is convert the .dxf into a CompuQuilter file by using your DXF to CQ
(or XYZ) software that came with your CompuQuilter.
How do I make the pattern
work on my IntelliQuilter?
IntelliQuilter systems work with the .dxf
as it is, so all our patterns are ready to go straight into your IntelliQuilter.
Can
you digitise one of my own drawings for me?
Yes. We'd be happy to digitise
something for you as long as the pattern is your original design. You
can find more information on our Digitising Service page.
I've
designed some patterns that I want to have published, can you help
me?
We've been publishing quilting patterns for several years and would
be happy to talk you through getting your patterns published. All our
contact information is on the Contact page.
What is a
.pdf file?
A .pdf (Portable Document Format) file is an easy way to
share information regardless of application or computer system. To
view a PDF file you need PDF viewing software and we recommend Adobe
Reader. You can download Adobe Reader for free from http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/
Is
your website secure?
Yes. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Web Server Certificates,
such as the one used on this website, encrypt all data sent to and
from the web site. This information is scrambled and therefore unintelligible
if intercepted.
How do I check my browser security?
If you elect to
submit your credit card details online, you will notice that the URL
prefix (located in your address bar) will change from the standard
http:// to the secure https://. This means that you are in secure mode.
Also your browser's security icon (usually located at the bottom right
hand corner of your browser window) will change to either a locked
padlock or solid gold key (depending on your browser make and version).
This is your assurance that your browser and our server are communicating
securely.
